As you will know, some homes in Scotter have been badly hit by flooding several times in recent years.
The parish council works with the Environment Agency to try to minimise the risk of flooding within the parish and is in regular weekly contact with them - however, we are well aware that this is not a problem which can be solved within the parish in isolation and that work elsewhere and upstream is also important. Our District Councillors are co-ordinating that effort and working to provide more wide-ranging solutions where possible.
The updates below from the Environment Agency will answer some of your questions and also provide contact details if you need further help with a flooding issue.
