In our village, we have three levels of reminders to motorists passing through of the speed limits that are in operation by Scotter Parish Community Speedwatch group of volunteers on behalf of the Parish Council. These three methods, static signs, flashing signs and the Speedwatch volunteers have proved to be successful but we would like to do more. We have now identified a further method to keep the reminders in the eyes of the motorist especially along the A159 where Parish Council is also working towards changing the Zebra crossing to a traffic light controlled Pelican crossing. We are looking for householders along the A159 and North Moor Road to place stickers on their wheelie bins. As a Trial, the Parish Council have purchased a batch of these stickers and are offering one to the first 100 houses who would be happy to apply this to their black bin. If you would like to, take part in this trial details on how to obtain your trial sticker will be popped through your letterbox shortly or you can contact the following by e-mail.
