You are hereby summoned to attend the Parish Council meeting of Scotter Parish Council on 20 July 2026 at 7pm at Scotter Village Hall. The meeting with consider the items set out below.
Before the meeting there will be a public session to enable the people of Scotter, Susworth and Scotterthorpe to ask questions of and make comments, regarding the Parish Council. Questions not answered in this meeting will be answered in writing to the person asking the question or may appear as an agenda item for the next meeting. The time will be restricted to 15 minutes maximum unless the council proposes a motion to extend this time and it is agreed and passed.

1 Apologies for Absence
Schedule 12 of the Local Government Act 1972 requires a record to be kept of the members present and that this record form part of the minutes of the meeting. Members who cannot attend a meeting should tender apologies to the Parish Clerk as it is usual for the grounds upon which apologies are tendered also to be recorded. Under Section 85(1) of the Local Government Act1972, members present must decide whether the reason(s) for a member's absence are accepted.
2 To receive declarations of interest under the Localism Act 2011 being any pecuniary interest in agenda items not previously declared on the members register of interest and any written requests for dispensations.
3 To approve as a true record the Full Parish Council Meeting minutes held on 15 June 2026 and sign by the chair accordingly.

8 Flooding Working Group Update. To consider inviting Scunthorpe and Gainsborough Water Management Board to the September Parish Council meeting to discuss options for working towards flood alleviation together.
9 To consider adoption of the Draft Training Policy.
10 To discuss the placement of unauthorised equipment in council owned parks taking into consideration the emails received from residents and advice from Lincolnshire Association of Local Councils. To review the Goal Risk Assessment and consider adopting the Draft Unauthorised Items on Council Land Policy and discuss if fixed goals are a feasible alternative and review quotes.
11 To review the current financial positions of reserves and under spend from financial year of 2025/26 and decide if to reallocate to ongoing of future projects. Giving consideration to Agenda items 13,14 & 15 in conjunction with this agenda item.
12 To receive further quotes for the community grant request from Scotter War Memorial Playing Field Association and consider any actions.
13 To receive and consider a funding request from Scotter Primary School for the purchase of 2 emergency use allergy pens at a cost of £64.23 + VAT each.
14 To receive and consider an email from Scotter Village Hall Committee stating their intention to apply for 50% of the community grant fund for the next 3 years and request for any further support available for funding towards the full resurface of the village hall car park.
15 To discuss and consider any actions required for Parsons Field and update on ongoing matters.
16 To review the current position of the gateway entry fences.
