Pall bearer at the funeral of Fred Butler (West face) in 1939

A Scotter ARP Warden in World War Two 

Became a lorry driver 

Drove cattle wagons for Ernest Bird 

Keen supporter of Scotter Brass Band; regularly attended rehearsals at the Village Institute 

In later life lived at Dudley Road, Brigg 

Payed for Brigg Bowls Club

Died 9th October 1973 aged 77
