Minutes of the meeting for Scotter Parish Council held on 27 January 2026, held at Scotter Village Hall.

Quorum: 4
In attendance: K Mathieson – Clerk, 0 Members of Public
Public Participation – Chair of Village Hall and Chair of Pre-school gave updates on recent actives. Member of public discussed the upcoming meeting with The Environment Agency.

Planning Application WL/2026/00039
Outline planning application to erect 2no dwellings, access to be considered and not reserved for subsequent applications.
Land at 26 Gainsborough Road, Scotter, Gainsborough, DN21 3UB
RESOLVED to object as per the following
i) Supporting reports are many years outdated
ii) This application nor the pervious one addresses the class of use of the property/land being changed from commercial to residential
iii) Application is confusing as some documents have the buildings still standing and some do not. If demolition has taken place was it accordance with laws and regulations, therefore new contamination reports may be required.
