P2312/1 To elect a Chairperson
Proposed, seconded and RESOLVED to elect Councillor Hunter as Chair of the Personnel Committee. Councillor Hunter duly opened the meeting at 6.39pm
P2312/2 Acceptance of apologies for absence
No apologies received
P2312/3 To receive declarations of interest.
None received
P2312/4 To make arrangements for the Clerks appraisal.
Proposed, seconded and RESOLVED for the Chair to conduct the appraisal. All other members of the council invited to send any comments to the Chair prior to the appraisal.
P2312/5 To agree the Clerks salary scale point and annual pay rise in line with NALC green book terms and employment contract.
Proposed, Seconded and RESOLVED to agree the annual pay rise and back date wef 01/04/2023. Agreed to increase the Clerks pay scale by 1 point wef 07/12/2023
P2312/6 To review the Clerks contract and hours.
Proposed, seconded and RESOLVED for the Clerks hours to be amended to 16 per week wef 01/04/2023. Clerk to draft amendments to be attached to the contract of employment and signed off by the Chair.
